Currently Redline has the only Mobile Dyno in Hawaii. It is a 1200 hp DynoJet chassis Dyno with real time air fuel ratio monitoring. What the real time AFR meter does is give you an accurate depiction of your air fuel ratio as your throttle increases, allowing you to see how your engine is running. It will tell you, at any given throttle position, if your engine is running rich, lean, or stoich. At a normal Dyno facility, the information is collected from the Dyno and transferred to another room. After you make a pass on the rollers, you then go and get your engine information read outs from that room. the problem with that is during that pass you could have run dangerously lean causing engine damage and you would not have even known. What we do different, is we place our laptop right in your vehicle and as you make the pass, you can watch the real time AFR live. The advantage to this, is that during your pass, you can watch the real time AFR, and if the engine happens to go lean, you can then quickly respond by letting off the throttle, avoiding serious engine damage. We also now offer real time Knock Detection.  Which gives you the ability to listen to the engine for knock and make appropriate timing adjustments.
